- Establish and promote a work environment that is, and continues to be safe and healthy.
- Ensures EHS hazards are identified, evaluated and controlled in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures to control EHS hazards associated with company operations. This position will communicate and continue to foster a EHS stewardship culture that goes beyond that which is mandated.
- Serves as primary advisor about EHS issues. Presents information on relevant regulations and market trends, opportunities and best practices.
- Participates in the strategic planning of manufacturing modifications to ensure that potential EHS System impacts are considered and permitting is completed within specific time frames
