EHS Site Lead

The full scope of the role will be the site lead for all aspects of Safety and Environmental Compliance. The managed risk will be to utilize safety data collected and move the site to proactive safety management.

Key Activities/Responsibilities

1. Maps, schedules and conducts regular safety audits of the plant to ensure compliance with Elgin and Federal Signal Corporation environmental, health and safety policies. The map, audit schedule and execution of corrective actions need to align with embed into standard operation compliance tools like the site 5S and Tier Accountability programs.

2. Lead root cause corrective action discussions with employees and site leadership utilizing key problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fish Bone, 8D, etc.) appropriate for the size and impact of safety or environmental non-conformance.
