_**EHS Supervisor**_
JOB SUMMARY:
Directly responsible for accurate and timely reporting of injury metrics to state and federal OSHA. Supporting safe workplace initiatives, conduct audits and provides feedback to leadership and employees of findings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to supervisors and managers to use root cause failure analysis methodology in investigating causes of safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Drives Safety culture
- Drives and Monitors EHS compliance
- Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly safety metrics and report these to site and corporate leadership, and state and federal agencies as needed.
- Maintain OSHA record keeping.
- Use Job Hazard Analysis to identify workplace hazards and recommend plans to reduce or eliminate hazards.
- Develop and present safety and health related training to all levels of the organization.
- Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
- Ability to interpret and implement local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Coordinates the completion and execution of regulatory studies with current shelter
- Provide support to Site Safety Committees.
- Training, development/ maintenance of Safety & Health Policy and Procedures, Plant Security and additional projects as required/needed.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Associate’s Degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
- Up to 5% travel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or related field
- Certification in the EHS field
