Insight Global is hiring an Elastic Search Engineer for one of our large consulting clients. This role will sit remotely in India.
Elastic Platform Engineering
-Design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch SaaS clusters, indexes, pipelines, snapshots, and supporting infrastructure.
-Build and maintain custom and out‑of‑box connectors for ingestion.
-Manage multi‑environment setups (dev, QA, stage, prod) including deployments, version upgrades, and release governance.
-Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines for Elasticsearch resources (index templates, ingestion pipelines, connectors, transforms, etc.).
Search Enablement & Optimization
-Perform relevancy tuning for lexical and semantic search (BM25, hybrid retrieval, embeddings, vector search).
-Conduct performance benchmarking, load testing, and adjust shard strategy, routing, and indexing throughput.
-Work closely with feature teams to design optimal retrieval workflows (RAG, v...
