Classification: Temporary Exempt

Rate of pay: $27.85 per hour

Hours of work: Variable

Term: February 9 to March 12, 2026

Reports to: Elections Administrator

Under the direction and supervision of the elections administrator, an election specialist supports the facilitation of our annual board elections. While an election specialist can expect to work closely with CSU staff in the execution of election-related work, an election specialist reports directly to the independent elections administrator.

Election specialists will be trained on election rules and procedures prior to the election.

Please note that in order to ensure the independence of the election process, we are not able to consider candidates who have been a Capilano University student or a Capilano Students’ Union student leader or employee in the last 12 months.
