If you’re excited by electrification, hands-on engineering, and working closely with OEM customers, this is a chance to join a successful, established distributor helping to lead the electric vehicle revolution for off-highway and mobile equipment.As an Electric Drive Technical Specialist, you’ll serve as the technical expert supporting electric drive solutions for mobile equipment. Reporting to Engineering and partnering closely with Sales, you’ll help customers design, validate, and implement reliable electric drive systems.

Essential Functions

  • Size, select, and apply electric drives and motors for off-highway and mobile equipment
  • Develop and support system schematics for drives, controls, and accessories
  • Provide on-site validation, testing, and start-up support for OEM customers
  • Collaborate on identifying and qualifying new technology and vendor partners
  • Support Account Managers with technical expertise and application guidance
  • Deliver product training to customers and internal teams
  • Experience, Education and Skills

  • 2-year technical degree required
  • 4-year engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar) preferred
  • 2+ years as an Application Engineer, Technical Specialist, or similar role
  • Experience developing, applying, and/or supporting electric drive solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, customer-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working in the field as well as in a technical office environment
  • Some travel may be required
