**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
Translate customer requirements into specifications that solve the problem and satisfy customer expectations.
Exhibit and utilize a working knowledge of other technical fields in the industry.
Assist in the creation of system requirements and specifications documents.
Perform high and low-level design of products including documenting wire hardness, debug of prototypes, system integration and test.
Verify that designs meet all specifications and requirements.
Participate in cross-functional groups through design projects.
Assist in the development of intellectual property.
Participate in formal design reviews.
Must be capable of documenting all aspects of designs according to company processes and procedures.
Remain current with industry trends in the areas of design, manufacturing processes, materials, and testing.
Remain current with market trends and competitive solutions.
