Job Title: Pfister Specialist – Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (Commissioning & Installation)
Location: Cuba
Duration: 6+ Months Project Assignment
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pfister Specialist (Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer) with hands-on experience in Pfister weighing and dosing machines . This role involves executing installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting activities for Pfister equipment at a major industrial project site in Cuba .
Candidates must have prior experience in cement plants or similar heavy industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform installation, alignment, configuration, and commissioning of Pfister weighing and dosing systems.
- Conduct calibration, performance testing, and functional checks of Pfister machines and associated E&I components.
- Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control issues related to Pfister feeding systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and OEM manuals.
- Ensure installation and operation comply with manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with plant operations, maintenance teams, and OEM representatives to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Prepare documentation, commissioning reports, and handover packages.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to onsite personnel when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field (mandatory).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation with specific expertise in Pfister weighing/dosing equipment .
- Proven work experience in cement plants or similar industrial process environments.
- Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) is a desirable requirement.
- Strong knowledge of calibration, instrumentation loops, feeding systems, and industrial automation interfaces.
- Ability to work independently in international and multicultural project environments.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.

- Location: On-site in Cuba
- Project Duration: 6 months (extendable based on project needs)
