Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented CAD Technician to support an Outage Program Sequencing Team. This role involves creating outage “story books” that visually communicate when portions of the electrical grid—such as substations and distribution lines—can be taken offline. The technician will help ensure efficient sequencing of utility projects, delivering highly accurate CAD updates with quick turnaround.

The ideal candidate is proactive, interested in improving workflows, comfortable introducing new tools, and motivated to grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review scoping documents provided by engineering teams
  • Analyze existing one-line diagrams for accuracy
  • Perform “plug‑and‑play” CAD updates, including removals, revisions, and additions
