Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Berlin - 3-6 Month Contract 

We have a great opportunity to work with our client, a global digital partner for sustainability and efficiency. They drive digital transformation by integrating world-leading process and energy technologies to full efficiency and sustainability opportunities. They are looking for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for their Berlin based location.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire secure power (UPS) product range
  • Evaluate unit’s installation (e.g. the quality of connections, assembly, readiness for start-up)
  • Evaluate system's installation & operational conditions
  • Ability to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions
  • Support customers in the installation, modification and repair of UPS product range
  • Be able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis)
  • Work with another service engineers during site interventions
  • Provide training to customers or end users on operations of the equipment
  • Interact with customers on site or remotely on the level and type of support required
  • Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for UPS products & systems

    • Requirements:
  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years with commissioning or field service repair with secure power
  • Confirmed experience with Secure Power installations (UPS, Battery cabinets, Transfer Switches)
  • Experience with installation and commissioning in Data Centers is a real advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuitry on a component level
