Job Description

Develop designs for plumbing and fire fighting systems using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.

Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans for water supply, drainage, and fire suppression systems.

Select appropriate piping materials, pumps, valves, and fittings based on project requirements. Perform hydraulic calculations for water supply, drainage, and fire fighting systems.

Conduct pipe sizing, flow rate, pressure drop, and pump selection calculations.

Ensure system efficiency and compliance with industry standards (e.g., NFPA, NBC, IPC, UPC).Ensure designs meet local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Stay updated with international standards such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers).Work closely with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and MEP teams.

Coordinate with contractors and project managers to ensure smooth installation and execution.

Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from vendors.
