Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role focuses on the design of LV electrical installations and control panel schematics, primarily within the water industry, with additional exposure to HVAC and building services projects.

You will be responsible for producing high–quality, compliant electrical designs, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver practical and cost–effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Design Engineer

• Design LV electrical installations in line with industry standards and client specifications
• Produce control panel schematics and associated electrical drawings
• Develop cable calculations, cable schedules, and load assessments
• Prepare electrical schematics, layouts, and documentation
• Use Trimble and/or Electrical OM software for design and documentation
