Electrical Design Engineer (Substation)

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (Substation) for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Onshore, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: Direct hire

Qualification and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience post‑graduation, with at least 8 years of experience as an electrical engineer in HV substation/Cable projects, and expertise in dealing with power utilities (preferably in the UAE or GCC).
• Experience with TAQA Transmission or equivalent in the region is highly desirable.
• Strong track record in basic design and design review.
• Ability to conduct and manage meetings efficiently.
• Fluent in English – reading, writing, and speaking.
