The Role:
We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in consultancy work in the mining and resources sector, looking to advance their career and work on diverse projects. Experience with controls systems is advantageous. Occasional site travel may be required.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for various projects.
• Assist in the implementation and optimisation of electrical control systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Support project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the mining and resources sector.
• Previous experience on site or in a consultancy is desirable.
• Experience with electrical control systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
• RPEQ or working towards registration.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel.
