Job Description

Shive-Hattery's Chicago office has an opening for an licensed Electrical Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience. We are looking for an individual with experience in renewable energy projects (fleet scale EV charging, utility scale solar, geothermal, wind) and who can also work on traditional building systems projects. This opportunity is a full-time position for a motivated individual with the ability to work and learn with an interest in acquiring a professional engineering license.

Requirements

 Requirements + Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to get licensed
  • Experienced in 3D modeling, Revit preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is desired
  • Must be able to collaborate with other team members and have good interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
