Electrical Engineer- Design

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Noida, Chennai

Experience: 3- 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive electrical site plans, including one-line diagrams, conduit layouts, and wiring schematics.
• Assist in the design and drafting of substations, transmission interconnections, and renewable energy infrastructure.
• Perform technical analyses such as load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and conduit fill evaluations under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Ensure all electrical designs are compliant with utility requirements, NEC, IEEE standards, and applicable codes.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and protection & controls teams to deliver integrated and coordinated site designs.
• Support permitting and regulatory approval processes by preparing detailed plan sets and documentation.
• Participate in field investigations and site visits to gather data and verify as-built conditions.
• Maintain organized project documentation, revision logs, and adhere to CAD standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3 5 years of experience in electrical site design, preferably for utility-scale projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Civil 3D.
