Electrical engineering focuses on the design and engineering of power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems, , data, security, fire alarm, raceway, cable tray and other electrical control and building support systems into the built work environment. Typical tasks and deliverables include power load, illumination, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations; basis of design reports, code evaluations; single line diagrams; plans; schedules; installation details; specifications; and coordination with manufacturers and construction trade partners. Tasks will include utilizing computer aided drafting and engineering software.

Minimum Qualifications
ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
