Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

 Location: Yamagata, Japan
Salary: ¥10–12 million JPY (depending on experience)


About the Role:


We are supporting a major pharmaceutical construction project in Yamagata and seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical works on a cutting-edge Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facility.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Mechanical and Electrical contractors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

  • Ensure all electrical systems meet Japanese local codes, regulations, and GMP requirements.

  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to support project delivery on schedule.

  • Review electrical engineering documentation, drawings, and contractor submittals.

  • Monitor quality, safety, and progress of on-site electrical installations.

    • Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of Electrical Engineering experience within industrial or pharmaceutical environments.

  •  Strong knowledge of Japanese electrical codes and regulations.

  • Local to Japan, with eligibility to work without sponsorship.

  •  Japanese fluency required; English proficiency preferred but not essential.

  •  Experience managing external contractors on large-scale projects.
