Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer located in Ernakulam.
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems at the 250 TPH Crusher Plant and two associated quarry sites. The role ensures uninterrupted plant operations by proactively managing electrical infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and planning future electrical requirements. The engineer will work closely with the Plant Manager and Plant General Manager to support current operations and upcoming expansions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, operate, and maintain all electrical systems at the crusher plant and quarry locations.
• Ensure smooth, uninterrupted functioning of electrical equipment and systems, minimizing downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for electrical installations.
• Advise the Plant Manager and Plant General Manager on electrical system requirements, upgrades, and safety improvements.
• Coordinate and plan future electrical needs related to plant expansion, capacity enhancement, and modernization.
• Supervise electrical installations, repairs, and modifications in compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for electrical works and maintenance activities.
• Maintain documentation related to electrical systems, maintenance records, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4–5 years of relevant experience,
OR
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 7–10 years of experience in crusher plants, quarries, or similar industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, motors, panels, MCCs, and high-load machinery is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Compensation
• Salary: ₹3.6 – ₹3.9 lakhs per annum
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
