Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs Middletown Works has an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Engineer at our Middletown, OH plant within the Electric Power Department. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant’s electrical power systems, supporting both day‑to‑day maintenance and long‑term system reliability.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Lead and direct the operation and maintenance of plant electrical system from 480V up 138 KV.
+ Supervise switching procedures, lockout, testing and grounding on the power system.
+ Manage employees and contractors to properly maintain and test power system equipment including transformers, relays, breakers, and motor starters.
+ Lead and assist in system troubleshooting and repairs. Work with maintenance staff to determine the root cause of all electrical failures and develop/implement corrective actions
