Job Description
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
- Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a project
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Sketchup to create accurate and efficient system designs
- Design electrical wiring plans, including the integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards
- Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings
- Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement
- Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permitting and approvals
