Job Description

The Electrical Design Engineer II is responsible for executing electrical design, modeling, engineering and power systems activities on industrial/infrastructure projects. These will be heavy industrial and capital projects for the military, and government of Canada.

Duties & Accountabilities

  • Provides engineering and design support for electrical power systems by preparing design packages and calculation documents to ensure project and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Develops electrical design documentation such as: Electrical load listsSingle-line diagramsCable schedules and wiring diagramsInstrumentation and controls listsInterface control diagrams and termination diagrams
  • Performs trade studies—both formal and informal—to identify efficient, cost-effective technical solutions within established material budgets.
