Electromagnetic Engineer

Job Description:

In MACOM's MMIC Business Unit we design MMICs and IMAs for cellular, aerospace& defense, and other wireless applications. We are looking for a
microwave electromagnetic engineer for the mmWave module design team at MACOM’s
Northampton, MA Center of Excellence with experience designing passive
structures such as power combiners, couplers, waveguide launches,
non-reciprocal ferrite devices, and antenna products. Experience with
active microwave circuits is a plus. You will:

  • Be responsible for the electromagnetic design, layout, test, and release of RF/MMW products and functional components of IMAs.
  • Design customized versions of the following items in waveguide, microstrip, stripline, or other distributed transmission line systems: Circulators, couplers, isolators, power divider/combiners, attenuators, phase shifters, and terminations.
