Prime Responsibilities

 Assist E&l manager in Proposal & estimation, project management, task force pertaining to E&l

  • Assist Lead engineer to prepare costing strategy, prepare proposal deliverables, review of proposal engineering deliverables, review of bulk material quantities & propose optimization strategies, check package scope definitions, obtain offers, prepare cost sheets, Techno-commercial analysis of offers
  • Assist Lead engineer to prepare procurement strategy, monitoring & expediting engineering, check engineering deliverables, procurement coordination & technical close out with suppliers, vendor expediting for on time delivery.
  • Assist Lead engineer to prepare manufacturing progress report and participate in inspection, arrange final documentation. Close out with suppliers.
  • Assist E&l manager for proposal closure and EPC schedule preparation.
  • Assist Lead engineer for interaction with customer.

  • Specific short term assignments with respect to other projects
  • Basic knowledge of interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
  • Develop understanding of client’s requirement and resolution of same.

    • Key competencies- Functional

     Need to have

    • Engineering management/ execution experience.

    • Awareness of hazardous area classification and Ex type equipments.

    Understand SLD, Wiring Schemes of Switchboards and Layouts

    • Awareness of technical specification & testing of Electrical items

    • Familiarity with deliverables such as design calculations, system study reports,

    Specs,Data sheets, MR, PR,Bid analysis.

  • Knowledge of electrical physical layouts,Electrical equipment and design.
  • Knowledge of International and National Industry standards and codes like IEC, API,NEC,NEMA,IER,IS,OISD etc 
  • Understand SLD, Wiring Schemes of Switchboards and Layouts
  • • Sound knowledge of EPC practices, codes and standards.
  • • Hands on experience of discipline softwares like ETAP etc.

    • Nice to have

  • International exposure to projects.
  • Familiarity with Vendors for supply of various Electrical items and costs.
  • Commissioning experience.
