Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

·       Machine Maintenance & Breakdown Handling

·       Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in block bottom, loom, lamination, and printing machines

·       Troubleshoot and replace sensors, heaters, SSRs, relays, contactors, and panel components

·       Handle VFDs / inverters for motors and drives

·       Ensure proper wiring, earthing, and electrical safety practices on all machines

·       Preventive Maintenance

·       Execute scheduled electrical preventive maintenance as per maintenance plan

·       Maintain and follow electrical PM checklists for critical components

·       Identify early warning signs to prevent major electrical breakdowns and downtime

·       Coordination & Support

·       Support automation / PLC engineers during advanced troubleshooting

·       Coordinate with OEM service engineers (Starlinger and others) when required

·       Maintain basic electrical records, breakdown logs, and maintenance documentation

Required Qualifications

·       ITI or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical

·       2–6 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance

·       Experience in PP woven / cement bag / packaging machinery preferred

·       Basic understanding of PLC I/O, sensors, interlocks (no programming required)

·       Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

·       Ability to work under breakdown and production pressure

·       Willingness to learn new machinery, systems, and technologies

·       Discipline in safety compliance and documentation
