The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to take full responsibility for a single-man site within a busy shopping centre. This is an electrically biased position, with the successful candidate also carrying out basic mechanical and fabric maintenance as part of the day-to-day operation of the site.
This role offers autonomy, stability, and a strong work-life balance in a Monday-to-Friday position.
Key Responsibilities
Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
Fault-finding on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution systems
Undertake basic mechanical tasks (e.g. pumps, fans, simple plant checks)
Carry out fabric maintenance including doors, locks, minor repairs, and general upkeep
Manage the site independently and liaise with centre management
Coordinate specialist subcontractors where required
