Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems related to MEP and HVAC projects.

  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.

  • Supervise panel wiring, control systems, instrumentation setup, and field cabling.

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated project execution.

  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical panels, HVAC control systems, and instrumentation devices.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

  • Prepare documentation such as technical reports, as-built drawings, material submittals, and maintenance logs.

  • Support procurement and estimation by evaluating electrical specifications and BOQs.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for project updates and approvals.

  • Provide technical support during installation and resolve site-based issues.

  • Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in MEP, HVAC, Panels, or Instrumentation systems.

  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, power distribution, and control systems.

  • Familiarity with standards such as IEC, NEC, IS codes, and safety protocols.

  • Hands-on experience with control panel wiring, motor controls, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation devices.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and basic electrical design tools; knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, or BMS is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret and create technical documentation and schematics.

  • Good communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Willing to travel to project sites when required.
