Electrical Engineer

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be a key technical specialist supporting our energy and material recovery facilities. This hybrid role combines office‑based engineering with hands‑on site support, working across multiple locations to deliver safe, reliable, and high‑performing electrical systems.

You’ll spend around 40% of your time travelling across the UK, providing both project and operational support to our plants.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering technical expertise in electrical design, HV systems, and instrumentation & control (I&C) within industrial and power‑generating environments
• Supporting the full project lifecycle, including specifications, design reviews, system modelling (ETAP/Trimble), commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Improving operational reliability, compliance, and performance across multiple facilities
