TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Electrical Engineering Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.



Responsibilities:

Oversee and validate factory acceptance testing and vendor documentation.

Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership across projects.

Prepare and review estimates for labor, materials, and schedules.

Ensure adherence to HSE standards and technical assurance protocols.

Conduct and verify electrical distribution system calculations.

Develop and review specifications for electrical equipment and systems.

Support construction phases with technical expertise and field experience.

Resolve issues related to vendor drawings and supplied equipment.

Lead electrical engineering efforts on major EPCM projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale engineering projects.

Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada.

Skilled in managing project schedules, reporting, and close-out.

Proficient with high-voltage systems (up to 230 kV) and ETAP software.

Strong field experience supporting construction and commissioning.

In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and regulatory standards.

Demonstrated leadership and team supervision capabilities.

Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder engagement.

Industry experience in mining or mineral processing, including SX/EW.
