Job Title: Electrical Engineering ManagerJob Description

The Electrical Engineering Manager leads an engineering team in designing, maintaining, and developing new products for electrical switchgear systems used in power distribution and industrial applications.

Responsibilities



+ Manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.



+ Collaborate with sales, production, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and switchgear designs comply with NEC and IEC standards.



+ Interact with electrical distributors during witness tests and design schematics, including point-to-point drawings, to meet application requirements.



+ Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing liaison services in all aspects of product application, performance, compliance to specifications, and solutions to complex customer problems.



Essential Skills



+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.



+ 3+ years of experience in engineering management.



+ 5+ years of experience in electrical design.



+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, power distribution, NEC, IEC, power systems, project management, electrical design, wiring diagrams, and testing circuits.



+ Experience with SAP, control panels, high voltage, low voltage, SolidWorks, panel design, medium voltage, PLCs, PLC control, and schematic capture.



Additional Skills & Qualifications



+ Experience in electrical testing design.



+ Hands-on problem-solving skills.



+ Coaching and development abilities.



Work Environment

The position is based in an electrical manufacturing environment. The team is expanding to two sites, focusing on low voltage and switchgear systems. The company operates in a stunning building with large contracts in play.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Corona, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
