About IntelliServ (an NOV company)

IntelliServ develops high-reliability downhole technology - including Wired Drill Pipe systems that enable high-speed data transmission from downhole to the surface. We're building and expanding our R&D capability in Provo, and we're looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting electronics used in demanding real-word environments.


Role Summary


This position is split approximately 50/50 between:

  • R&D Lab Technician support (prototype builds, rapid iteration, new test setup/execution), and
  • Sustaining support (repeatable builds/tests, troubleshooting, documentation, continuous improvement of existing hardware and processes).

    • You'll work closely with Electrical Engineers and cross-functional partners to keep prototypes moving quickly while also improving stability and repeatability for released products.
