About the role

As an Electrical Estimator , you will play a key role in preparing accurate & competitive proposals for a variety of electrical projects, with a focus on preventive maintenance, D&C and ECI contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing / submitting accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
  • Thinking outside the box and presenting compelling proposals including D&C and Early Contractor Involvement submissions
  • Analyzing drawings, specifications & project requirements
  • Sourcing / negotiating pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Developing early‑stage client relationships and ensuring seamless transition into execution
  • Liaising with engineers to provide early engineering design as part of proposals
  • Collaborating with project managers / engineers / clients to develop competitive proposals
  • Attending site visits and communicating clearly & confidently

Qualifications

  • Full Australian working rights essential (we cannot provide sponsorship)
  • Proven Electrical Estimator experience in the electrical industry (3+ years preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, codes & regulations
  • Understanding of Heavy industrial, generation, grain handling and or E&I project and maintenance structures
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Self‑starter with strong time management; able to source own opportunities as required
