Job Description
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and select residential electrical construction projects. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and proposals to determine total project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
The Electrical Estimator works closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure bids are complete, timely, and aligned with company goals and operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify electrical requirements.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical materials, equipment, and systems.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop accurate project estimates.
