As an Electrical Commissioning Foreman, you’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site electrical commissioning activities to ensure systems are tested, energized, and handed over safely in accordance with project requirements, applicable standards, and commissioning procedures.

Your Role
Supervise commissioning and testing of electrical systems
Ensure electrical installations are complete and ready for energization
Coordinate with commissioning engineers, electrical contractors, vendors, and QA/QC teams
Execute and witness electrical tests and functional demonstrations
Support energization activities and ensure safety procedures are strictly followed
Identify, track, and close electrical commissioning punch list items
Verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and safety regulations
Maintain commissioning checklists, test reports, and handover documentation
Support system handover to operations and facilities teams
Electrical Systems Scope
The candidate must have hands-on commissioning knowledge of:
MV & LV switchgear
Transformers
UPS systems and battery interfaces
Diesel generators and synchronization systems
Power distribution (MDB, SMDB, RPP, PDU)
Earthing and lightning protection systems
Protection relays, interlocks, and emergency power-off systems
Integration with EPMS / BMS
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP commissioning, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing networks, and associated controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and commissioning documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Relevant trade certification or technical engineering qualification preferred.
Knowledge of commissioning software, tools, and reporting platforms is a plus.
