About the Role

A well-established manufacturer is searching for a Design Engineer to design electrical systems for custom machinery and automation equipment. You will create schematics, select components, support panel builds, and assist with testing and commissioning while collaborating with engineering, assembly, and customer teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using CAD tools.

• Develop BOMs and specify PLCs, safety devices, motion hardware, and power components.

• Perform load calculations, wire sizing, and system protection analyses.

• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL, and related standards.

• Support wiring, panel builds, testing, troubleshooting, and onsite commissioning.
