Responsibilities

• Calculate, select, and oversee the design of heat trace cables.
• Design and follow up on heat trace requirements according to P&IDs and project solutions.
• Input, update, and maintain the heat trace engineering register.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and coordinate between fabrication and engineering teams.
• Interface with other disciplines to ensure compliant, reliable heat tracing solutions.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's degree or Technical College qualification with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in onshore and offshore facilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and calculating electrical heat-trace systems for offshore projects.
• Deep knowledge of electrical design standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
• Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks.
