Electrical Installation & Service Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Installation & Service Technician to join the I2R team. You will work on industrial electrical projects for Australia’s largest food & beverage processors and farming businesses, collaborating with team members and key customers, and supporting apprentices.

Position is based in Riverina with occasional pre‑scheduled interstate travel.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and service industrial electrical systems across food & beverage and agriculture sites.
  • Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical and automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and control teams to support project delivery.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices following company development pathways.
  • Support operational success through coordination with customers and internal staff.
  • Travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current NSW Electrical Contractors License or Qualified Supervisor Certificate.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience.
  • Industrial electrical installation and fault‑finding experience.
  • Basic diagnostic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, & SCADA platforms.
  • Ethernet networking skills.
  • Excellent technical and operational problem‑solving skills.
  • Good project risk‑management and internal project‑management system implementation.
