Electrical & Instrumental Technician

Responsibilities:

• Being able to perform testing of different electrical installations and equipment and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Assist Engineers in installation, repair and preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment and power, lighting systems and circuitry in the plant.
• Able to follow the work order and monitor monthly maintenance for existing equipment.
• Carry out the trouble shooting and other additional work requested by the supervisor as and when necessary.

Requirements:

• Nitec(NTC,ITE) or Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering related discipline
• Have at least 1-year electrical experience in the manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of chemicals process in relation to production machinery and equipment will be an added advantage
• Able to read and understand department procedure and work instruction
• Able to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawing will be preferred
