We are looking for a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Controls Engineer to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions and support various projects within our portfolio. Experience with controls systems is essential, and RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement electrical systems and solutions for a range of projects.
• Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical control systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Consultancy experience within the mining and minerals sectors preferred. 
• Knowledge and exposure to PLC programming
• Experience using software including Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley
• Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
• Experience within several electrical control systems is a bonus.
• RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) qualification is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.
