They work closely with BIM Managers, BIM Coordinators, Electrical Engineers, and other design disciplines to ensure accurate modelling, seamless coordination, and full compliance with BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:</strong></h2><h3><strong>Implementing Electrical BIM Standards & Workflows</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Ensure electrical discipline teams follow the approved BIM standards, LOD/LOI requirements, templates, and modelling workflows.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accuracy and consistency across electrical models and documentation.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Managing Electrical BIM Production</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Supervise Electrical BIM Modelers and Technicians.</p></li><li><p>Assign modelling tasks, track progress, and review outputs for accuracy and compliance.</p></li><li><p>Validate electrical system modelling including:</p><ul><li><p>Lighting</p></li><li><p>Power</p></li><li><p>Low current with the BIM Manager and BIM Coordinators during clash detection and federated model reviews.</p></li><li><p>Identify, document, and resolve clashes related to electrical services with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Providing Technical Electrical BIM Support</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Assist team members with modelling techniques, parameter setup, system mapping, and software troubleshooting.</p></li><li><p>Train new team members on electrical discipline standards and BIM workflows.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Ensuring Electrical BIM Compliance</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Confirm that models align with BEP, MIDIP, MDS, ISO 19650 requirements, and project-specific guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Maintain metadata accuracy, shared parameters, and proper naming conventions.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Model Publishing & Data Exchange</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Manage the upload, review, and publication of electrical models within CDE platforms (e.g., BIM 360).</p></li><li><p>Maintain proper folder hierarchy and model versioning.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Documentation & Reporting</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Prepare discipline BIM documentation, schedules, and deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Update electrical BIM logs, issue sheets, clash reports, and progress dashboards.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Key Result Areas:</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Contributing electrical inputs for the Pre-Contract & Post-Contract BEP</p></li><li><p>Developing and updating electrical sections of MIDIP, MDS, MBS</p></li><li><p>Generating electrical clash matrices and resolving system conflicts</p></li><li><p>Producing required electrical LOI parameters and maintaining consistency</p></li><li><p>Delivering electrical components for the Federated Model on time</p></li><li><p>Maintaining discipline structure within the CDE (BIM 360)</p></li><li><p>Ensuring full compliance with BS EN ISO 19650</p></li><li><p>Running electrical QA/QC checks before internal and external submissions</p></li><li><p>Supporting weekly coordination meetings with updated models and reports</p></li><li><p>Publishing electrical models on BIM 360 per schedule</p></li><li><p>Creating discipline-specific Revit families, templates, and 3D objects for ASR BIM Library</p></li><li><p>Preparing validation reports for milestone BIM packages</p></li><li><p>Delivering electrical drawings, schematics, and 3D/IFC models (CAD, PDF, Revit, Navisworks, IFC)</p></li><li><p>Ensuring compliance with COBie and asset data requirements for electrical systems</p></li><li><p>Managing discipline team to deliver BIM tasks efficiently and analyse issues, propose solutions, and communicate effectively with other disciplines.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>BIM Documentation</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Ability to produce electrical BIM
