We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Manager to join our International Engineering Centre (IEC) team. This role involves leading the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for major industrial, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects worldwide

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead to build up a competitive global Electrical engineering team with robust technical expertise and capability in fulfilling escalating demands and technical requirements of the projects across the globe.
• Work closely with Project Manager / Project Engineer and Scheduler to develop schedule related to electrical engineering to meet the overall project timeline.
• Responsible for developing technical frameworks, encompassing the establishment and refinement of processes, standards, technologies, and operational guidelines. This initiative aimed at fostering technological advancement, optimization, and facilitating best practice sharing to enhance product competitiveness within the market.
• This role involves coordination across engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Responsible for the overall management and control of all the technical issues occurred during the pre-sales phase and the project delivery phase for all the projects, covering the entire electrical systems
• Develop electrical system designs including single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing, and protection schemes.
• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and design documents for electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, etc.). Develop specification and enquiry and order packages for electrical equipment / systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and client specifications.
• Manage interfaces with Clients and EPC organization for the outsourced projects.
• Provide input to Project cost estimator to develop overall project cost estimate.
• Technical commercial bid evaluation of electrical equipment and systems. Coordinate with suppliers for technical clarification from tendering stage through the installation and commissioning.
• Support client for Electrical systems documentation for statutory compliance and approvals.
• Swiftly address technical concerns for clients, deliver proficient technical assistance to elevate customer contentment levels and support business expansion endeavours.
• Empower employees across departments, regions, and projects by developing training courses and plans to ensure that engineers across global possess the requisite technical skillset for their professional responsibilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to integrate electrical systems.
• Support construction teams with installation guidelines, site clarifications, and troubleshooting.  Ensure engineering quality management and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SATs (Site Acceptance Tests)
• Coaching and mentoring the electrical team to ensure build a strong technical expertise to manage projects across the globe.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in renewable energy and smart grid systems.
• Contribute to energy yield optimization and cost reduction strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related fields. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (10 - 15 years) as technical expert in the industry with largescale energy project technical leadership experience, large scale wind, solar, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and grid project experience will be a plus.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients’ leadership team, prioritize customer-centricity, identify key technological pain points, and coordinate resources internally and externally to solve complex technical issues during the pre-sales and delivery phases of the projects.
• Strong team leadership can engage and be credible as mature leader to facilitate collaboration and bring people together to achieve results as a team.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle challenging situations and addressing issues encountered during project implementation.
• Proficiency in English is a must. Knowledge of other language is an advantage.
• Experience in working with multinational company is preferred.
