Role: Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our Skilled Service Staff team
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £59,433 per annum, made up of the below:
* Salary - £44,319.68
* Pen Shift - £13,456.66
* Annualised - £1,653.99
Job Purpose
Chiltern Railways are looking for a Skilled Service Staff – Technical Riding Inspector to join the team. This role sits in the engineering team reporting directly to the Aylesbury Production Management team. The role will support the Fleet of Class 165 DMUs, Class 168 DMUs, Mark lll Coaches/DVTs and Class 68 Diesel locomotives in their planned and casualty maintenance activities.
Primarily working out Aylesbury Depot on a 24hr roster basis, a successful candidate would have experience in Safety Critical Traction & Rolling Stock Maintenance from a shop floor perspective.
