ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

The Electrical Project Engineer (Owner’s Representative – Power & Electrical) supports the Area Manager – Power and Electrical in overseeing delivery of the Project’s power infrastructure, including the 90 kV grid connection transmission line and substation, 33 kV RAP distribution, site 11kv distribution including 11kv site main switchboard and the backup diesel power station. The 90 kV and 33 kV networks are being developed in collaboration with CI-ENERGIES (the concession authority of the national electrical infrastructure) through an established project management framework. The role ensures alignment between this external delivery program and the Project’s overall schedule and technical requirements. Across all scopes, the Electrical Project Engineer acts as the conduit between engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring the power infrastructure is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards of quality and performance.
