Job Title: Electrical Service TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to maintain and upgrade commercial door systems and equipment. This role involves 90% maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading existing systems, with the remaining 10% focused on new installations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform wiring and troubleshooting of electronic door hardware, including automatic locks, lighting systems, and sensors.
  • Modify, upgrade, and install various door systems and hardware.
  • Provide customer service to a diverse client base, including schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants.
Essential Skills
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in electrical and field service.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and low voltage systems.
  • Strong maintenance and installation skills.
  • Effective customer service abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems is preferred.
  • Low voltage experience is preferred.
  • A 2-year degree in maintenance or automation is a nice-to-have.
  • Experience in installing hardware, electronics, and control systems is a nice-to-have.
  • Welding experience is a nice-to-have.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a typical workweek ranging from 40 to 45 hours. We are a family-owned business with a tight-knit group where the owner knows everyone personally, creating a supportive and collaborative field service work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
