Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produce and develop electrical building services designs including power distribution, lighting, fire and life safety, and low voltage systems
  • Support the Design Manager and wider project teams with technical input and coordination
  • Review consultant designs for compliance, buildability, and cost efficiency
  • Assist with value engineering and design development
  • Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines
  • Attend design and technical meetings as required

    • About You:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in electrical building services design
  • Contractor or design & build experience preferred (consultancy backgrounds considered)
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
  • Experience within residential, student accommodation, or hotel sectors beneficial
