We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Electrical specialists in our Mackay branch. Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager – Dragline & Electric Rope Shovels. The focus of this position is to provide support and direction to both internal and site based teams through technical electrical services for Draglines and/or Electric Rope Shovels.

Core Responsibilities to include;

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels with provision of status reports
  • Provide on-site technical expertise to diagnose and repair advanced electrical circuits, electronic control and drive systems, ensuring work is completed to the correct equipment specifications
  • Ensure electrical audit inspections align with OEM specifications and risk based decisions are accurate & prioritised correctly
