Electrical Supervisor - Installations & Service

Core Talent are working with a market leader in the Renewable Energy sector that specialise in engineering Solar & Battery solutions to residential customers across Western Australia. Due to continued growth and heavy ongoing workload, we are now seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical installation and service activities across residential energy systems including Solar & Battery technology.

This position is primarily off-the-tools, focused on compliance, quality assurance, fault escalation, and supporting field teams through technical guidance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the nominated Qualified Supervisor under an Electrical Contractor's Licence (WA).
  • Ensure all installation and service works comply with WA electrical regulations, Australian Standards, and network requirements.
  • Provide high-level, technical support for fault diagnosis across solar, battery, inverter, and monitoring systems.
  • Oversee quality, safety, and compliance outcomes across installation and service activities, including audits, spot checks, and corrective actions.
  • Certify prescribed electrical works and complete regulatory documentation as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce repeat service issues and improve work practices.
  • Coach and support electricians and apprentices through toolbox talks and target technical upskilling, particularly with solar and battery qualifications.
  • Liaise with internal teams, customers, suppliers, network operators, and regulators as required.
  • Escalating electrical safety or compliance risks senior leadership when necessary.
Candidate Profile

This role would suit a senior A-Grade Electrician who can act as a nominated Qualified Supervisor, provide technical leadership, and ensure all work is delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.

  • WA A-Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Eligible and willing to act as a Qualified Supervisor under an Electrical Contractor's Licence (WA).
  • Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS standards relevant to grid-connected, solar, and battery systems.
  • Proven experience supervising or technically supporting electrical teams.
  • WA Driver's Licence, White Card, and Working at Heights certification.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
