Job Description

Position Purpose

The Position is overall responsible to operation & maintenance of Electrical system with minimum breakdown and performs uninterrupted supply of utilities to plant.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Assisting reporting Executive in maximising equipment availability by minimising breakdowns pertaining to different Electrical equipment

  • Run all Electrical equipment in healthy condition.

  • Assisting reporting Executive in manpower utilization related to plant Electrical work.

    • Operational Responsibilities


    Taking reading of power/TR/DG of all plants


    As per the load monitoring required change over taken for load balancing after discussion of the concerned plant


    Safety work permit(hot work permit, General work permit) for routine work of the plant.


    DG set 125KVA workshop checking and diesel level checking. Change over during GEB power failure .


    EMS system load observation & Energy meter correction


    Power change over when GEB or DG sets Fail/tripped.


    Diesel stock maintaining & filling in diesel service tanks of DG sets.

  • Monitor and review performance of contract technician / FTs

    • Education Qualification


    Diploma in Electrical Engineering

    Work Experience


    04 – 10 years

    Industry to be Hired from


    Chemical processed based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine / Specialty Chemicals

    Functional Competencies


  • Ability to handle day to day maintenance and operation of power plant and electrical maintenance with the help of engineers / Technician /contractor person
  • Good analytical skill and system approach to analyze the problems

    • Interaction Complexity and Team Work
