ELECTRICAL VDC/BIM DESIGNER
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of BIM Designer.

ELECTRICAL VDC/BIM Designer Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the VDC/BIM Designer is between $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

  • ELECTRICAL VDC/BIM Designer Responsibilities

  • Use Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed, constructible electrical system models and installation drawings.

  • Prepare and manage drawings, specifications, revisions, and related documentation for efficient project execution.

  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to identify and resolve design conflicts, reducing rework and project costs.

  • Support field teams with dimensioned installation drawings, site assessments, and occasional surveying of existing conditions.

  • Develop prefab details and bills of materials (BOMs) to streamline fabrication and improve construction efficiency.

  • Assist with identifying and implementing innovative design solutions to improve project delivery.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all design documents.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • ELECTRICAL VDC/BIM Designer Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry.

  • Working knowledge of REVIT.

  • Knowledge and experience of performing and/or observing electrical construction.

  • Ability to take verbal and general written direction and turn it into constructability documents.

  • Ideal but not required: Fluency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Glue, Revizto.

  • Ability to read and interpret 2D plans and shop drawings electronically or in hard copy.
