:

Reporting to the Underground Mine Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, you will be part of the Underground Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. 

  • Understanding of motor control logic and MCC (600V), DC motor control (static drive) and AC drives; 

  • Basic instrumentation troubleshooting (temperature sensor, pressure sensor and tachometer); 

  • Understanding of PLC logic and providing troubleshooting activities as required; 

  • Maintain equipment rated for 24 volt to 13.8KV; 

  • Use of various tools such as: voltmeter, megger and ampere meter; 

  • Ensure that safety issues are reported to the supervisor and promptly remedied;
